Television celebrities spend a huge amount of time of the day shooting for their respective serials. It is on the set of their shows that they make the best bonds. Many a time, they find love at the sets as they get ample of time to know each other. There are some famous on-screen jodis of TV celebs who are couples off-screen too.

Aamir Ali – Sanjeeda Sheikh

One of the most good looking couple in the television industry became the talk of the town when they fell madly in love with each other. Aamir and Sanjeeda met each other and instantly became friends. They took long to realise that they have fallen for each other. After quite a long relationship and several dates they decided to participate in the TV show Nach Baliye. They won it against Rakhi Sawant and her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi. They appeared in many TV shows including Kya Dil Mein Hai and Ek Hasina Thi and thrilled the audience with their amazing chemistry. Finally on March 2, 2012, they got married.

Gurmeet Choudhary – Debina Bannerjee

Gurmeet and Debina first met in 2006. They participated in a talent show in which they both were amongst top 30 contestants. Debina and Gurmeet became friends and later became the best of friends because of the mutuals. Few years later, when they worked together in the TV show “Ramayana” they became extremely popular in every household and fell for each other. After a courtship period of five years Gurmeet finally proposed Debina on a reality TV show Pati, Patni or Voh with a diamond ring and then they finally tied the knot on February 15, 2011.

Sanaya Irani-Mohit Sehgal

Sanaya and Mohit met each other on the sets of “Mile Jab Hum Tum” in 2008. They both played the romantic leads in the TV show. Their on-screen romance of opposite-attract also became off-screen romance. They secretly dated for 7 years and finally married each other in a grand ceremony on January 25, 2016. They share a quite evident understanding with each other and had a destination wedding in Goa.

Hiten Tejwani–Gauri Pradhan

Hiten and Gauri share a marvellous bonding with each other. However, they are opposite in nature. Hiten is a happy go lucky guy while Gauri is a no-nonsense kind of a girl. They can be considered as the first popular reel to real life jodi of the Indian television. Hiten and Gauri first met on the sets of Kutumb which was aired in 2001. The on-screen love-hate relationship turned in an off-screen relationship with the passage of time. There was so much chemistry brewing between them that Ekta Kapoor intentionally roped Gauri opposite Hiten in the mega show “Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”. Ravi Dubey – Sargun Mehta

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta met on the set of Zee Tv’s show “ 12/24 Karol Bagh” when he came for the look test. She found him really weird at that time. Later, when they started playing the roles of husband and wife, Sargun realised they were really similar. They got attracted to each other and started dating. Soon, on the sets of Nach Baliye, Ravi proposed Sargun and that’s how they got married on December 7, 2013. They are one of the best couples in the industry and have been doing well so far.

Ram Kapoor-Gautami Gadgil

Ram Kapoor and Gautami Gadgil are one of the most adored TV celebs. They met on the sets of “Ghar Ek Mandir” which was aired on Sony Television. Both Gautami and Ram have poles apart personalities but the cliche of “opposites attract” worked for them and they fell in love with each other. Love brewed between them and became evident to everyone including their families. Finally, they convinced everyone and tied knot on February 14 in 2003.

Vivek Dahiya-Divyanka Tripathi

Divyanka Tripathi, who is renowned for her role of Ishita in the TV Show “Ye Hai Mohabbatein”, was in limelight for being in a relationship with her co-star Sharad Malhotra from Banu Main Teri Dulhann. But after being in a ten-year long relationship the couple parted ways. Divyanka found a friend in Vivek when she was nursing her broken heart. They both were working together in the show when they slowly fell in love with each other. It wasn’t love at first sight for both of them but they worked hard to make their relationship sustain longer. Sanjeev Seth-Lata Sabharwal

Sanjeev Seth and Lata Sabharwal play the characters of Rajshree and Vishambhar, the parents of Akshara in the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They both met on the sets and became friends. They shared a good bond and later fell in love with each other while playing the role of husband and wife. Sanjeev was earlier married to Resham Tipnis however now he is living a happy life with Lata Sabharwal.

Neha Saxena-Shakti Arora

Neha Saxena and Shakti Arora worked together in the TV show “Tere Liye” playing the characters of Tapish and Mouli respectively. Earlier Neha thought that Shakti was a rude guy but gradually they became friends and fell in love with each other. They also participated together in the TV show Nach baliye and finally tied knot in April 2018. Neha and Shakti are crazy about each other and are busy living their married life these days.

Indraneil Sengupta-Barkha Bisht

Barkha and Indraneil were shooting for the TV Show Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam when they first met. Their on-screen chemistry was adored by the audience and it did not take any longer when their chemistry blossomed off-screen as well. It was not instant when the couple fell for each other but it was destiny that brought them together. After a short courtship period the couple got married in 2008 and is blessed with a daughter.

Sharad Kelkar-Keerti Gaekwad

The handsome man Sharad Kelkar and the stunning Keerti Gaekwad were working together in the popular show “Saat Phere” when they fell in love with each other. Well, it wasn’t their first show together as the duo had already worked together in Doordarshan’s Aakrosh. They both also worked together in CID Special Bureau. It was at this time when they started sharing a bond. Sharad showed great support to Kirti during her rough times and it was when they realised they had fallen for each other. They participated in Nach Baliye and moved the audience not only by their dance moves but also by the type of bond they shared. The couple got married on June 3, 2005, and now is blessed with a daughter named Kesha.

Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim

Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim fell in love on the sets of “Sasural Simar Ka” when they were shooting together. Dipika was married at the time she met Shoaib but was ready to get divorced as the marriage wasn’t working out well. It was when Shaoib left the show back in 2013, they both realised they have fallen for each other. Dipika provided strength to Shoaib and he supported her in overcoming the dark face of divorce. They both never confessed their affair before getting confirmation from each other as Dipika wanted to make sure that Shoaib wasn’t a rebound for her. They both participated together in the TV show Nach Baliye and later got happily married on February 22, 2018.
