Schools of Ranchi

The schools of Ranchi follow the Indian educational system. The private Ranchi schools either follow the education syllabus laid down by the ICSE board or the CBSE educational method.


Ranchi is the capital city of the Indian state of Jharkhand. The city has an excellent collection of primary and secondary level schools. The schools of Ranchi may be administered and funded by the government. Some of the schools are also privately funded and managed. Private schools are more expensive than government run primary institutions. A majority of the government run schools follow the curricula set down by the Jharkhand School Examination Board. The private schools in Ranchi offer their pupils the choice of taking either the ICSE or CBSE board school leaving examinations.
