Education in Surat

Education in Surat has received a new impetus and grown to incorporate more educational programs that benefit the students of the region. The government has made continuous efforts to promote education in the city of Surat and has succeeded immensely in its attempts. The city has achieved a high rate of literacy. Schools and colleges imparting knowledge in different streams are present in the city of Surat.

The objective of the government was to impart thorough and true knowledge to the students of Surat. Realizing the necessity of primary education in Surat, the government has established primary schools and educational institutes that take great care in imparting the basic education to the students.
