Gurgaon has numerous temples but one of the most famous and most visited temples in Gurgaon is Sheetala Devi temple. The temple is situated on a side of a beautiful pond. The temple witnesses many visitors throughout the year, but is very much crowded during the month of Chitra, especially Mondays, as they are considered very auspicious. Different devotees have different reasons to come to the temple, sometimes the occasion can be the "mundan ceremony", or some come with a purpose of offering prayers to the goddess to protect them from the disease like small-pox. The infrastructure of the temple is commendable. There is no entry fee to visit the temple.
