Nainital Schools

Nainital Schools are famous throughout India for their excellent educational standards. Nainital has a number of high quality public schools.

Nainital schools admit both day scholars and boarders i.e the students who stay in hostels provided by the school.

Famous alumni of the school includes the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bacchan.

  • St.Mary's Convent: St Mary's Convent was established in 1878. It is a girls' school. St. Mary's Convent admits both day scholars and boarders. The present strength of students currently hover around 1000.Admission process starts in March.

  • St. Joseph's College: St.Joseph's College was established in 1888. St.Joseph's College is administered by the religious foundation Christian Brothers. English is the medium of instruction in this school. St.Joseph's College follows the ICSE curriculum.

  • Birla Vidya Mandir: Birla Vidya Mandir is a boys only school. The school is under the C.B.S.E board.
