College of Engineering and Technology (CET) was set up in the year 1981 by the Government of Orissa. College of Engineering and Technology aims at providing the best quality of technical education. It also aims at overall development of its students so as to make them strong enough to take up any challenge in their professional life.

College of Engineering and Technology provides you with B.Tech and M.Tech. All the courses are shaped up as per the current trends in the industry. Apart from these, a 10 semester Bachelors Degree in Architecture and a 6 semester Masters in Computer Application is also on the offer list. B.Tech is offered in the following streams :

•  Electrical Engineering
•  Civil Engineering
•  Instrumentation and Electronics
•  Mechanical Engineering

M.Tech (Part Time) courses are offered in :

•  Civil Engineering
•  Computer Science

College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The college offers various facilities to its students and faculty. Some of them are as follows :

•  Central Library of College of Engineering and Technology contains about 116 lakh books and works from 10am to10pm on all working days.
•  Reprography section in the library which offers photocopies of books or documents at nominal price.
•  Hostels for boys and girls.
•  A gymnasium for the students.
•  Branch of the State Bank of India in the campus for banking facilities.
•  Surya Nagar Post office within the campus for postal facilities.
•  University Dispensary for medical facilities for its students.
•  Canteen with quality food at reasonable rate.
