Established in 1987, the Xavier Institute of Management of Bhubaneswar is one of the best management institutes in eastern India. Its special feature is its state-of-the-art infrastructure and the variety of management programmes it offers; tailor-made for different types of candidates.

 

The Xavier Institute of Management of Bhubaneswar offers fresh graduates a 2 years' full-time(PGDBM) or a 3 years' part-time MBA course (ExPGP) for those who are already working . There is also a 1 year PG certification in Business Management (PGCBM). Students may avail the 2 years' full-time programme in Rural Management (PGPRM). A special feature is the Doctoral-Level Fellow Programme in Management (FPM).

 

Entry to PGDBM or PGPRM or FPM is through the XAT, conducted by the XLRI while those wishing to pursue PGPRM also have to sit for the IRMA. Candidates for FPM have to appear for the XIMB Research Aptitude Test. Tests are followed by a round of group discussions and personal interviews,on the basis of which candidates are merit-listed.

 

Single-occupancy hostel rooms are available at the Xavier Institute of Management of Bhubaneswar . Besides, there are 24-hour library services with access to online databases.
