Ajay Binay Institute of Technology - Piloo Mody College of Architecture (ABIT-PMCA) is one of the renowned colleges of the city. It is located in Market Nagar, and offers courses such as Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) and Master of Architecture (M Arch). The college is named after Mr Piloo Mody, a renowned architect of Orissa. For admission to B Arch course, 50% in 10+2 (with Mathematics) is required. National Aptitude Test score is also required for admission in Bachelor of Architecture in Ajay Binay Institute of Technology. In order to seek admission in M Arch course, a degree in B Arch or its equivalent is mandatory.

Biju Pattanaik Film and Television Institute of Orissa (BPFTIO) offers courses such as, Sound and TV Engineering, Diploma in Cinematography and Film and Video Editing. For admission in Cinematography and Sound and TV Engineering, 10+2 with Science is required. Film and Video Editing and Photography courses are open for students from all the disciplines. However, the age limit for the courses is between 16-25 years.
