The airport of the city is a significant part of the transportation at Gwalior. The airport is located at a distance of about 8 km from the main Gwalior city. A number of important flights from different places of the country fly to this airport. Some of the important places of India from which one can take a flight to Gwalior are Mumbai, Bhopal, Delhi and Indore.
