It is slightly difficult to reach Imphal by train, as nearest railway station is Jiribam and the road from Jirabam to Imphal is quite inconvenient. Trains are available up to Dimapur from New Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati.

Getting to Imphal by train is not possible directly as there is no direct train service to the place. For traveling to Imphal, travelers can also take the route via Guwahati. From Guwahati bus service as well as air service is there. Imphal, the capital city of Manipur, can also be reached by train through Bairabi in Mizoram and Silchar in Assam.
