Road Map From Delhi to Roorkee

Roorkee is a small city situated in the state of Uttarakhand. The city which is set on the banks of the Ganges is very well reputed for its educational centers. Roorkee over the years has also developed as an important commercial center. The famous city is also home to the Roorkee Cantonment which is the oldest Cantonment in India.

Roorkee is extremely well connected to Delhi by road and rail. There are numerous trains and buses that ply from Delhi to Roorkee. Roorkee is located on National Highway 58 and National Highway 73. It is situated on the main rail route of Amristar and Howrah. Roorkee is situated at a distance of about 175 km from New Delhi. The journey by road from Delhi to Roorkee takes approximately 4� hours. Some of the famous trains that travel from Delhi to Roorkee are; DDN Shatabdi, Utkal Express, DDN JanShatabdi and Haridwar Mail etc.

Delhi to Roorkee by Air

Roorkee also shares a convenient air network with Delhi. Roorkee does not have its own airport however the closest airport is situated at Jolly Grant which is in Dehra Dun. There are numerous domestic and international airlines that fly from Delhi too Roorkee daily. You will pass by New Raja Vaishno Bhojanalaya situated on the left hand side

You will come onto Mohan nagar/ Kitori Mill

Keep moving till you come onto Hapur Road

You will pass by a Petrol Pump situated on the left hand side

Then take a left Turn at NH 58

You will pass by a Petrol Pump situated on the left hand side

Then take a left turn

Again take a sharp left turn

Then keep moving straight till you get onto dauatpur

Take a left turn at NH 58

You will pass by Military Chauraha situated on the left hand side

Then take a right turn

Again take the first right

Then take a right turn at Govind Bhawan Road and you will reach your desired destination

• Keep moving straight till you get onto Naya Bazar Road

• Keep proceeding onto ISBT Rd
• Then take a left turn and get onto Yamuna Marginal Bandh Marg
• Keep moving till you get onto Pushta Road
• Then keep moving straight till you get onto Baghpat Road
• Then take a left turn at SH 57
• You will pass by S.G.S Inter College situated on the right hand side
• Then take a right turn
• Now take a left turn at MDR 135W
• You will pass by the Yagya Shala situated on the right hand side
• Keep driving on your right
• Take a right turn to stay on MDR 135W
• Then take a left turn to remain on MDR 135W
• Take a right turn at MDR 22W
• Then take a slight left turn at MDR 135W
• Then take a slight right turn at SH 12
• You will pass by Kumar Filling Centre situated on the left hand side
• Now take a sharp left turn at Shiv Chowk and you will get onto NH 58
• Then take a right turn
• Again take the first right turn
• Now turn right and get onto Govind Bhawan Road and you will reach your desired destination
