Jaipur is approximately 277 km from Delhi and it takes around six hours to reach Jaipur via the National Highway 8. The NH 8 route to Jaipur is via Gurgaon, Dharuhera, Neemrana, Behror, Shahpura, Dand and Amer. Luxury buses, Volvo, AC coaches and general bus services are operated by both RSRTC - Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation and private travel agents. Buses are easily available from the Interstate Bus Terminals at Kashmere Gate and Sarai Kale Khan. Buses can also be booked and boarded at the Rajasthan Tourism office at Bikaner House, New Delhi. Taxis and rented cars, from small, midsize to luxury are also easily available with or without drivers. There are a number of hotels, motels and food joints on the Delhi to Jaipur route, which offer decent food and stay to travelers.
