Delhi Public School, Surat




In the Delhi Public School, Surat special attention is given to the all round development of each and every student. For a balanced development of the pupils the school hours are divided into time for academics and other extra curricular activities.

This school in the city of Surat was established in the May of the year of 2003. It is a part of the renowned DPS Society. The first school established in the year of 1949, by this society. At present there are about 124 schools under this society. Mr. G. R. Sivakumar is presently the principal of the DPS, Surat.

The syllabus that is prescribed by the NCERT is followed in this school. The DPS of Surat is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

The DPS in Surat is well equipped with all sorts of modern amenities that are required for training the students. The faculty members of the school are not only learned but also very sensitive towards the right development of the pupils.

Beside academics serious attention is paid towards the physical training of each of the students. Lessons in music, dance, painting and craft are part of the regular routine of the students.
