Gwalior dance variations such as Ahiri and Yadav reflect the vibrant cultural tradition of this district of Madhya Pradesh . The Ahiri dance of Gwalior belongs to the community of cattle herders. The Yadav dance of Bundelkhand is performed at the time of Diwali festival.
