Results for Ajmer, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Allahabad, and Guwahati are announced (28th May, 2014). The CBSE announced the results for the Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions on May 26.

This year the students had an extended period for examinations as the same had to be suspended briefly due to elections. The results have been announced and the CBSE has started the process of counselling students and parents to handle post-results stress and advise students on any clarifications or future options.

Every year, reports of students taking extreme steps or feeling depressed as a consequence of results being announced, have been a matter of serious concern for the Board.

The students who clear the exams now have to deal with college admissions or competitive exams and therefore, this period is one when they require careful and mature handling from the parents and family members. The school itself can provide a good platform for advice as the students continue to hold a strong relationship with their teachers.
