Advice to students applying in DU colleges
With only 55,000 seats available to over 3.8 lakh applicants, there is great demand for admissions to some of the more popular colleges in DU. This leads to a sense of disappointment and failure among those who fail to get admission in some of these colleges. Please remember, getting a course of your choice is more important than the college that you study in.

Students must keep in mind that life is a long journey and your educational degree is only the first step to a successful career. The college that you study from is not as critical as the ability to apply what you have learnt. This gets exposed during a job interview process that you will attend, post completion of your education.
Therefore, it is better to focus on getting admission in any DU college but pursue the course that you wish to. Have faith in your own ability to get ahead in life rather than worry about the brand name of the college you study in.

Good luck with the admissions process.
