Explain the two concepts which are part of the exercise which would reveal whether a company is understaffed, overstaffed or optimally staffed.
Answer.
1. Workload analysis: This would enable an assessment of the number and types of human resources necessary for the performance of various jobs and accomplishment of organisational objectives.
2. Workforce analysis: This would reveal the number and type available.
