Mango cake

This mouth-watering dessert can be prepared with simple ingredients at home. The best part about this exhilarating dessert is that people of all ages are going to love it. If little decorations are done on it, it becomes a masterpiece.

NOTE: the cup measures 250ml.

Ingredients

  • Mango puree – 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour- 2 cups
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon
  • Oil (neutral flavoured)-
  • Baking powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda- half teaspoon
  • Condensed milk- 3/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar

Steps to follow

  • Sieve the flour, baking powder, and baking soda together in a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Now, grease a pan and keep it aside.
  • Add melted butter and condensed milk.
  • Preheat the oven at 180-degree Celsius for fifteen minutes.
  • Whisk well to obtain a homogenous mixture.
  • Add mango puree, vanilla extract, and flour to the mixture.
  • Bake for 45 to 50 mins in the oven.
  • For icing on the cake, you can use fresh cream.

Mango pudding

This recipe is extremely easy to make and it is divinely blissful when served cold with cream and nuts.

Ingredients

  • Mango puree- 2 cups
  • Gelatine- 1 tbsp
  • Condensed milk- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar- 2 cups
  • Water- half cup
  • Oil for greasing
  • Cream

Steps to follow

  • Take a bowl, pour gelatine and add cold water. Let it soak for 10 mins.
  • Now, take another bowl, add water and bring to a boil. Switch off the flame and add soaked gelatine.
  • Add sugar, condensed milk, mango puree and mix well.
  • Grease a bowl and add the mixture into it. Put it in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
  • The Mango Pudding is ready to be served cold.

Mango Kulfi

Ingredients

  • Mango puree- 2 cups
  • Milk- 2 cups
  • Cornflour- 2 tbsp
  • Dry fruits-chopped

Steps to follow

  • Take milk in a pan and heat it on low flame.
  • Let it simmer for some time, then add sugar to it.
  • Dissolve the flour into the milk and do not let lumps to be formed
  • Let the mixture cool and then add mango puree to it.
  • Add chopped dry fruits to the mixture and pour it into moulds.
  • Freeze it for 8 to 10 hours and serve chilled.

Ingredients

  • Mangoes- 2
  • Cardamom powder
  • Saffron
  • Milk- 2 cups
  • Jaggery powdered
  • Dry Ginger powder (saunth)

Steps to follow

  • Peel the mangoes and chop it into pieces.
  • Take a blender and mix mango pieces, cardamom powder, milk, saffron and dry ginger powder together.
  • You can add jaggery if needed.
  • Pour the mixture into glasses and serve chilled by adding ice-cubes.

  • Mango puree- 2 cups
  • Cream- 2 cup (whipped)
  • Cinnamon powder- 1/4 teaspoon
  • Agar agar(china grass)- 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Water-1/2 cup
  • Milk- 1 cup

Steps to follow

  • Take a pan and add agar-agar and milk to the mixture, stir it on low flame and let it simmer.
  • Put mango puree, sugar and cinnamon powder into the mixture.
  • Let the mixture cool for some time.
  • Now take three to four glasses and put a little cream into them.
  • Add mixture and then again put cream.
  • Repeat the process to form layers in the glasses.
  • While serving pour lemon juice to give it an authentic taste.

Mango Halwa

  • Take a pan and add ghee to it.
  • Now take cornflour in a bowl and add water to it. There should be no lumps in the mixture.
  • When the ghee gets lukewarm, add mango puree to it.
  • Now add the cornflour mixture and let it thicken up.
  • Add sugar and some more ghee to the pan.
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits over it and let it cool.
