Recipe for Basil leaves chutney

Basil leaves are one of the oldest herbs, which is the best known to humanity. It contains a lot of healing and healthful properties that have been the most special knowledge across the world. Moreover, it is a culinary herb used to enhance the properties of food. 

Benefits of basil leaves:

Basil is called the powerhouse of antioxidants (free-radical scavengers). Free radicals are the most unstable atoms that cause heavy damage to the cells and put a man at increased risk of many health complications, such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and arthritis.

Ingredients:

  • Basil Leaves
  • Garlic cloves
  • Diced Onions
  • Green Chilli
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 3-4 Spoons Water

Recipe:

1. Wash all the basil leaves nicely

2. Take a Chopper and add the basil leaves into it.

3. Add the diced onions, tomatoes and green chillies.

4. Add some garlic, cloves, and salt to taste.

5. Turn on the chopper and grind well all the ingredients.

6. Add 2-3 Spoons of water and grind it again.

7. Take out the chutney and add a pinch of lemon juice over it.

It’s ready! You can serve it with hot fritters.
