Recipe for Golden Chocolaty Fudge

If there is no delicious dessert after the main course, what is the fun of eating food? Dessert is the most mouth-watering and best part because everyone loves to have it after dinner or lunch.

Golden chocolaty fudge comprises thick, dense milk and a lot of chocolate. You can make this lip-smacking dessert for any special occasion. This dessert is usually served chilled because the fudge is more like iced chocolate sprinkled with lots of nuts and golden dust.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate 
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened condensed milk (Khoya/Mawa)
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1/4 spoon of Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup grated dry fruits of your own choice 
  • Golden dust or golden work for decoration.

Recipe:

1. Fill a pan halfway with water and let the water boil.

2. Place a clean, dry bowl in water. 3. Put the chocolate in this bowl to melt it by icing or small pieces.

4. Melt the chocolate while stirring on low flame, and after melting

5. Turn off the flame and keep the bowl aside.

6. In a bowl, add all the other ingredients except chocolate and mix well.

7. When the soft mixture is ready, start making the fudge.

8. Shape the fudge (barfi) into the desired shape with your hands or cut them into pieces with the help of a scale or knife.

9. After this, keep it in the tray and deep freeze it for ten minutes or till it is well set.

10. Then, take it out and coat it with melted chocolate.

11. Use a fork to coat. Now place the chocolaty fudge on a plastic sheet.

12. Keep it in the fridge to set it again for five minutes.

13. Then take out and serve garnished with golden dust powder or golden work and lots of nuts.

If the chocolate starts to set, melt it by the same process. Any chocolate of your choice instead of dark chocolate can be used.
