Private companies are now being asked to supply ventilators

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Agva Healthcare, Noida has been given an order to manufacture 10,000 ventilators within a month. Their supplies are expected to commence in the 2nd week of April. Additionally, Bharat Electronics Ltd. has been asked to manufacture 30,000 ventilators in the next two months in collaboration with local manufacturers. Automobile manufacturers have been asked to manufacture ventilators and are working towards this end.

UP Govt takes over 4 star hotels to accommodate medical workers fighting coronavirus

The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has taken over four five-star hotels in Lucknow to lodge doctors, medical workers and paramedic staff who are at the forefront of fighting the battle against coronavirus. The four five-star hotels include the Hyatt Regency, Lemon Tree, The Piccadily and Fairfield by Marriott. These four hotels will be converted into quarantine zones for the medical staff who are in constant contact with the coronavirus patients. (Source: India Today)
