Politics is a game of uncertainty, where everything is possible with time. Politicians change colour as quickly as a chameleon. Blame game among the political parties has increased to prove their clean image in front of the public to get mandate during elections. Members of all the parties are sailing in the same boat.

Lady luck is with Ajit Pawar

It seems lady luck is with Ajit Pawar. Nephew of Sharad Pawar swears in as the deputy Chief Minister in Maharashtra second time in one month, as Uddhav Thackeray expanded his cabinet on Monday. First time Ajit Pawar took oath as the rebel of NCP, this time party high command is with him.

Politics to remain in power

It seems uncle-nephew duo both are opportunist. Their main aim is to remain in power at any cost. Family tradition in Indian politics closes the gate for commoners to lead any party. This tradition has been going on since the beginning. All the political parties are applying the same theory.

Jumbo size ministry

Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray also included in the jumbo size 36 ministers in the state. The state can’t have more than 43 ministers. Maharashtra has 288 members in the assembly, so ministers can’t exceed 15 per cent of the total number of seat in the Legislative Assembly.

BJP plays dirty politics

BJP turned the table of JD (S) and Congress in Karnataka and made its government after playing dirty politics when several MLAs of the Congress the JD (S) submitted their resignation to the speaker as operation Kamal succeeded in its mission which led to the political crisis in the state. In the end, BJP formed the government with ease. The rebellion of JD (S) and the Congress fought by-election on BJP ticket and emerged victorious recently.

BJP shallows its own pill

In Maharashtra, BJP had to shallow its own pill, when Sharad Pawar showed his cunningness and mustered Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress on one platform and formed the government. BJP emerged as the single largest party but after the election results, Shiv Sena changed its stance as batsmen do in the shorter format of the game and started bargaining. BJP was not agreed with Shiv Sena’s demand resulted in two age-old political allies failed to come together, left Maharashtra politics in a limbo.

‘U’ turn by Fadnavis

A ‘U ‘turn took place on November 23 when Devendra Fadnavis like a Bollywood hero took oath as the chief minister of the state with the support of NCP leader Ajit Pawar, who sworn in as the deputy chief minister. Meanwhile, BJP quickly lifted all the cases against Ajit Pawar and given him a clean chit in the irrigation scam. Earlier the same BJP leaders were speaking against the corruption of Ajit Pawar.

Pawar declares saint

How did Fadnavis and his colleagues lift case against Pawar the moment he joined hands with BJP? How does he become neat and clean overnight? Lust of power has changed the mindset of Indian politicians. The same BJP party was howling to put Ajit Pawar behind the bar, but he was declared a saint after when he decided to support the saffron party. How quick are our politicians in changing their verdict?

Unique alliance

The national leadership of NCP did not recognise that tie-up then Fadnavis had to resign within three days. The troika of Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress formed the government in the state. It is a unique combination that Shiv Sena joined its hand with Congress and NCP leaving the BJP to cool its heel till the next time.

Shiv Sena changes statements

Shiv Sena, another saffron outfit has been giving its statements differently after allying with Congress and NCP. In spite of claiming itself a Hindutva party but in its voice secularism has entered, because the government is running with the help of two secular parties.

Change is obvious in the Shiv Sena’s voice, the recent statement of Uddhav Thackeray on police attack against Jamia students and then comparing it with the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. See the shift in Uddhav’s voice and decide where are our politicians standing.
