G-51 Millennium Award for Mother Earth protection in 1998

Indo-German Award for Environmental Excellence in 2001. The award was given by the Greentech Foundation.

Environment Performance Award in 1999. The award was given by the nodal Council of Power Utilities or CPU in India.
