The Reliance Power- safety awards are a testimony to the company management's commitment to maintaining high safety standards at the workplace. The list of safety awards given to Reliance Power includes:

Safety Award by National Safety Council of India in 2001

Four Stars by the British Safety Council in regard to Safety Management and Occupational Health.

National Safety Council Safety Award in 1999 by the council's Maharashtra unit.

National Safety Award by the Government of India in 2003

National Safety Council awards in 2004. The awards were given in recognition of the lowest incidence of accidents in the workplace.

Safety Procedures Followed

Reliance Power strives to follow a standard safety protocol that cuts across different intracompany divisions. Workplace hazards are carefully minimized and if possible, negated. Safety inspections are conducted on a regular basis. Relevant workplace training is imparted in a phased manner to all employees for an enhanced error free environment. Communication between Reliance company employees are encouraged for acquired and secondary safety measures. The safety programs are also audited.
