Its Mahagatbandhan for Bihar

ECI has declared the final results for the Bihar assembly polls 2015. The grand-alliance has won with clear majority after taking 178 seats. the NDA alliance managed to get 59 seats only. Party-wise seats are:

BJP - 53

INC - 27

JD(U) - 71

LJSP - 2

RJD - 80

RLSM - 2

CIP(M) - 3

HAM - 1

Independent - 4

Grand alliance sweeps Bihar polls

 

The grand alliance has swept the elections with a comfortable majority.  As per the latest reports, of the 243 seats, the grand alliance has won 178 seats, while the NDA has won only 58, while 7 seats have gone to others. Meanwhile, SEBI and the stock exchanges have beefed up their surveillance and risk management systems. This has been done to control expected volatility, which may occur due to the defeat of the NDA. 

BJP's Rajiv Nandan wins from Gurua

Rajiv Nandan of the Bharatiya Janata Party has won from Gurua by a margin of 6515 votes.

RJD's Rajendra Kumar wins from Harsidhi (SC)

Rajendra Kumar of the Rashtriya Janata Dal has won from Harsidhi (SC) by a margin of 10267.

 

 

By 4 p.m. ECI has declared results for 31 seats in which JD (U) has won 12 seats, RJD has won 1, BJP and Congress 5 each. 

Dr Mohammad Jawaid wins from Kishanganj

Dr Mohammad Jawaid has won from Kishanganj. Jawaid defeated BJP's Sweety Singh by a margin of 8609 votes.

Janardan Manjhi from JD (U) wins in Amarpur constituency. From Asthawan constituency, Jitendra Kumar from JD(U) wins.

RJDs Tej Pratap Yadav wins from Mahua

Tej Pratap Yadav of RJD has been declared the winner from Mahua

Rahul Gandhi says his full support is with Nitish and Lalu. He also says that it is the victory of truth and a party can not win by dividing Hindus and Muslims.
