Kerala oder "God's own country" liegt an der Malabar Küste von Südwestindien. Es ist der südlichste Staat von Indien und hat Thiruvananthapuram als Hauptstadt. Die von Palmen gesäumten Strände sind wie Augenschmaus für jede. Kerala ist auch ein beliebtes Reiseziel. Die Leute von überall der Welt kommen, um die ruhige Umgebung von Kerala zu genießen. Mit den saftigen und grünen Hügel-Stationen, exotischen Wildtieren, besinnlichen Strecken von smaragdfarbenem Stausee (Backwaters) und langer Strandlinie mit schönen Stränden zieht Kerala die Touristen von überall der Welt an. Die bekannten Reiseziele sind Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kochi, Kolam, Kumarakom, Munnar, Pallakad, Thekkady und Kozhikode. Der bekannte Strand Kovalam befindet sich auch in diesem Staat.
