The Gir Forest National Park is a leading place of interest near Junagadh. It is located in the southwestern part of Gujarat. One can view different species of wild animals like Asiatic lions, hyenas, sambar deer, langurs, leopards, jackals, chital spotted deer, wild boars, chowsingha four-horned antelopes, monkeys, nilgai antelopes, chinkaras and gazelles at the park.
