Sree Narayana College in Kollam



Sree Narayana College in Kollam is one of the respected colleges in the South Indian city. Named after the famous saint and social reformer, Sree Narayana Guru, Kollam's Sree Narayana College started its academic operations in 1948. It has the distinction of being the pioneer college in the state of Kerala to offer post graduation courses.

At present, the Sree Narayana College in Kollam conducts classes for 12 post graduate courses and 14 undergraduate courses. The college provides reasonable avenues for research and development in various academic streams. Stress is also given on co-curricular activities like social functions, charities, literary competitions, sports, arts, and crafts. The Sree Narayana College in Kollam is affiliated to the University of Kerala. The college is administered by Sree Narayana Trusts in Kollam.

The Sree Narayana College of Kollam boasts of a sprawling campus with an excellent study center of Kerala University. A study center of Indira Gandhi National Open University is also present. A career guidance center and an information center are present within the campus. Prof. K. Sashikumar is the present principal of Sree Narayana College.
