Lemonade is one of the most popular drinks in the world, pretty much used in most countries. However, the use and taste varies in different countries. For example, in the North American continent, it is generally served with no fizz, while most of the Europe uses a carbonated and fizzy lemonade. In India, we have been having the Indian flavor which also comes without fizz and commonly known as shikanji or nimbu pani. As the name suggests the key ingredient of the lemonade is the lemon mixed with other local flavors. I’ve tried to give a twist here by creating a fizzy Indian drink by mixing regular plain soda and one of my favorite fruits, the mango and creating a mango lemonade. The drink comes out amazingly refreshing and just irresistible! It would go well through the year, however, best in the hot season. The sweetness and salt can be varied based on individual diet requirements and taste. The drink can be served in kitty parties or family gatherings. Its best to prepare it at the last minute so it does not loose its fizz. You can use the recipe to create your own mango lemonade and enjoy it as you please.
