Ingredients needed for Shakarkandi Ki Chaat

(serves 2)

  • Shakarkandi – 2 pieces.
  • Chaat masala – 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Zeera powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Onions – 1/4 cup (cut in small pieces)
  • Green chili – 1 (cut in small pieces)
  • Green chutney – 1 tbsp
  • Imli chutney – 1 tbsp
  • Dhania leaves for garnishing
  • Namkeen sev for garnishing (optional)
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp

How to make Shakarkandi Ki Chaat

Preparation time: 5 min.

Cooking time: 15 min.

  • Boil the shakarkandi, peel and cut in small pieces.
  • Add cut onions.
  • Add all dry masala, chutney and lemon juice and toss.
  • Garnish with dhania leaves and Namkeen Sev.
