Today I give you a perfect recipe for Tofu Masala, with which you can enjoy this wonderful product in any of the main course. This dish goes well with your homemade roti or paratha and is a good alternative to paneer dishes. All you need is (serves 2)

Tofu – 150 gms

Onion – 1 cup (chopped)

Ginger paste – 1 tsp

Garlic paste – 1 tsp

Tomato – 1/2 cup (chopped)

Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil – 2 tbsp

Fresh dhania for garnishing

Tofu Masala Recipe

Preparation time: 10 min.

Cooking time: 25 min.

Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, ad onions and fry till light brown.

Add ginger paste and garlic paste and fry till golden brown.

Add all the dry masala and fry for 2-3 min.

Add tomatoes and fry till the oil starts to leave the sides.

Add tofu with 1 cup water, some dhania leaves and mix well with the masala.

Cook for about 5 min.

Garnish with fresh dhania leaves.

Serve hot.
