Know about the Sesame Broccoli Florets Recipe

250 g broccoli florets blanched in saltwater.

250 g Cauliflower Florets, blanched in salt water.

¼ Cup sesame seeds, to coat

For the batter:

½ Cup Refined Flour

½ cup cornflour

¼ tsp Chaat masala

½ tsp red chilli powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

¼ tsp red chilli flakes

Water as required

Oil to deep fry

Thai chilli dip

Tomato ketchup

Dry fenugreek leaves



1. Put the flour and cornflour in a bowl along with the chat masala, Chilli powder, salt, pepper and chilli flakes.

2. Add enough water to make a thick batter and beat until it gets smooth.

3. Heat the oil in a wok on high heat, then reduce the heat.

4. Dip each floret in the batter.

5. Roll each floret in sesame seeds until well coated.

6. Deep fry until golden brown and crisp.

7. Remove with a slotted spoon and then drain it.

8. Mix the Thai chilli dip and tomato ketchup to serve with the florets. It will give a spicy taste to the dip.
