What is Saksham Yuva Scheme?

The Manohar Lal Khattar led the Haryana government to launch Saksham Yuva Yojana in 2016 to uplift, focus and enable unemployed and educated youth. It allows people to choose their skills as per their interests.

It includes an allowance of up to Rs 3000, an honorarium salary of Rs 6000 and Skill training. Its purpose is to create more employment opportunities for the young generation and act on their placement in different state government departments. After undertaking the scheme, it will be in effect for three years.

A family shall get Rs.9000/- per month subject to 100 hours work for a month and Rs.3000/- for the unemployment allowance. In addition, the eligible candidates will receive training on skill development according to the choice of their preferred department. The government will directly send the financial aid to the beneficiary bank’s account.

What are the eligibility criteria for Saksham Yuva Scheme?

1) The applicant should be a resident of Haryana state to avail the benefits under the scheme.

2) The applicant has to be enrolled in the Employment Exchange.

3) The applicant must have a postgraduate degree.

4) Only applicants whose age is between 21 and 35 years of age can apply for the scheme.

5) The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than three lakhs.

What are the documents required to register with this scheme?

One should have a copy of the higher secondary mark sheet, degree certificate of the applicant, educational certificates (if any/optional), Voter ID, PAN card, Bank account details (copy of bank passbook).

What is the online registration procedure for this scheme?

1) One should go to the official website of the Saksham Yuva scheme of the Haryana government.

2) One needs to register on the portal as a new user to apply for the scheme.

3) Tap on the “login” menu on the webpage of the portal.

4) Choose the “Click here for Register” option on the next page.

5) Select the qualification type and press the” Go to Registration” button.

6) Read and accept the terms and conditions

7) Registration form gets opened

8) The applicant is required to fill in the information on the form.

9) After filling in all the details, the OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.

10) Tap on the “Register” button for successful registration. The portal will send a password to your registered mail address for login use.
