It is a better version of the coir mattress. The mattress is made of springs and small coils stuffed under the surface, and has a cushion wrapper. The presence of the springs gives a bouncy feeling. As technology advances, the number, types, and layers of coils have changed. A larger number of coils typically means better comfort and support. The coils are either connected to a single unit or are encased in individual pockets and prove to be a not-too-soft & not-too-hard ideal sleeping base. It is better to have a mattress topper over the spring mattress as it enhances the lifetime of the mattress. It is the best for backside and tummy sleepers.

Pros

Comfort, support, great bounce, cooling, strong edge, medium priced one, medium comfort for back pain.

Cons

Medium durability. The mattress exhibits motion transfer, and spring shapes and coil gauges can affect the quality of back support.
