The top name on this list is that of Flipkart that is an internet based organization with offices at Delhi and Bangalore. The company is a homegrown ecommerce retailer and has dominated the Indian ecommerce sector like no other, ever since it was founded back in 2007 by Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal, who both worked at Amazon at that time. Last year, US-based retail giant Walmart sealed an agreement with the promoters to acquire 77% stake in Flipkart.
