Exclusive: Sara Khan Says She Enjoyed Shooting In Kashmir For ‘The Era Of 1990’, Reveals Co-Star Had To Be Painted Black

Speaking exclusively to MapsofIndia.com/MyIndia.in, Sara answered various questions about her life and movie "The Era of 1990"

Sara Khan is a gorgeous and well-known TV actress who started her acting career very early in her life. She is an actress who lives through her role and believes that what she is now is all because of her roles in TV shows, which made her grow in life. She started her career as a host, had her first role in the TV show Bidaai and acted in her recent “The Era of 1990”, directed by Shahid Kazmi along with Actor Arjun Manhas.

Speaking exclusively to MapsofIndia.com/MyIndia.in, Sara answered various questions about her life and movie “The Era of 1990”. When asked how she decided to become an actress, Sara stated that she was in 11th standard when she got a call from the producer of the TV show Bidaai and grabbed the opportunity. She said she was already shooting commercials in Bhopal before that, and after the call, her journey started as an actress.

She, as an actress, said that it is the opportunity that makes an actor opt for any upcoming roles they can work on. She remarked actors are always ready to grab new opportunities. When asked how the actress manages her personal and professional life, she said her professional life is hers. The media makes an actor’s life professional, although she said she is a very private person. The actress stated she likes to be known for her work rather than what happens in her personal life as she doesn’t have personal time when working, which is a loop of waking-working-sleep.

The last time the actress appeared in Humari Adhuri Kahani. After a long time, she appears in a movie. When questioned how she feels about it, the actress stated that although she has worked in various TV shows and has done parts in the film for her ‘The Era of 1990’, she is very excited and thrilled and is a bit nervous.

To the question of what her experience was till now as an actor, she said it is a life that a person lives as an actor, facing different ups and downs. It is a different kind of life that is out to the world, where any mistakes an actor makes becomes a print and are remembered by all. The actress also added that her life is out loud in front of the world, and there is less privacy. She believes in living the character she is performing and has never felt any pressure. For her, it is just about performing in front of a camera, not in real life.

The actress also gave some excerpts from her upcoming movie. She said everyone in the film did their best and made it fantastic. There are action sequences, romance, and comedy. She also talked about the producer, that he has made sure that they came out with excellent performance and content making it a good product. She stated the songs are stunning, such as Raanjhana, one of the most romantic songs of the season.

The Ram Milaayi Jodi actress shared some memories of the shooting. She loved working on the movie and had a different experience while working on it. She shared her experience of how the director never procrastinated the film with a script. He instead explained the scenes and asked the actors to live through them. She said she had a fantastic time working in Kashmir, with mesmerising views and soothing weather. Every idea seemed like scenery to her. She shared that one of her memory involves a fun part where the hero was painted black for the demand of the movie, and it usually used to come out while doing romantic scenes. She said the paint used to get over her skin, making her laugh while performing a romantic scene.

“The Era of 1990” suggests giving a vintage touch to the movie and to the question of whether it will connect with the heart of today’s generation. The actress said that the situation was and is always the same; it’s just the era that changes, bringing change to fashion and looks. However, the feelings, sense of humour and living pattern remain the same. The motion is the same even now, she concluded.
