7. Shahid (2012)
This is a Hansal Mehta directed film that was based on the true life story of Shahid Azmi (a human rights activist and lawyer) who was assassinated in the year 2010. The role of the protagonist was played by Rajkummar Rao. This film was co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, UTV Spotboy and Sunil Bohra. ‘Shahid’ went on to win Best Actor and Best Director awards at 61st National Film Awards ceremony.
