8. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013)
‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is one of the most inspirational Bollywood flicks of all time, based on the ascension of renowned Indian athlete (Olympian and national champion) Milkha Singh, whose childhood was scarred by poverty and India-Pakistan partition. This Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed biographical sports drama went on to become one of the biggest grossing films of all time. The film was inspired by the book titled The Race of My Life, an autobiographical piece co-authored by Milkha Singh and Sonia Sanwalka (Milkha’s daughter). Prasoon Joshi was the script writer of the film and the role of the protagonist was played by Farhan Akhtar.
