Film Career

Sesh made his acting debut as a minor guest appearance in the 2002 movie Sontham. In the 2010 movie Karma, which also featured Sher Ali, he made his directing and writing debuts. The way Sesh portrayed Dev—a character who can predict events just seconds in advance—was favourably received. Rediff appreciated his portrayal, saying, “Sesh Adivi does a wonderful job as an actor. He is a good candidate to portray the enigmatic Dev because of his “angelic” features. His writing abilities are also noteworthy. Despite his unorthodox choices and original themes, he has tried to introduce something fresh to Telugu films.

Sesh appeared in the movie Panjaa in 2011, which also starred Pawan Kalyan, Sarah Jane Dias, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. Sesh played the NRI character Munna in this movie. Munna is a rich, pampered child who is exceedingly hazardous to the people surrounding him. This was also his first appearance as a villain. The critics gave his performance excellent marks. Adivi is worth seeing for his “sadistic” portrayal, which is the exact reverse of what he delivered in the movie Karma, his directing and acting debut, according to Rediff. Sesh’s Karma turns for the better with this picture, and he is a revelation, according to CineGoer.com, which also appreciated his performance. After that, he played the villain in the film Balupu.

In 2016, Sesh was featured in the movie Kshanam, whose screenplay and script were written by him and filmmaker Ravikanth Perepu. Sesh attracted the attention of the business and viewers with this movie. After Kshanam, he turned down over 50 screenplays that would have given him the central part. Later, he had brief cameos in the films Size Zero and Oopiri. He had an appearance in the Mohanakrishna Indraganti comedy Ami Thumi. His next movie was the action thriller Goodachari.

The most significant success was his most recent movie, Major, a biopic of Major Sandeep that made him a well-known Indian star and was released in June 2022. In the sequel to his espionage thriller film Goodachari, which was released in 2018, Sesh acknowledged writing the script.
