Rashmika Mandanna, a fabulous South Indian actress and model, was born on April 5, 1996, in Virajpet, Karnataka. She is well known for her acting skills and beauty and is a skilled actress who connects with the audience through her realistic presentation of any character she plays. Rashmika was born in a Kodava family to Suman (mother) and Madan Mandanna (father) in Karnataka. She did her schooling at Coorg Public School in Kodagu. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from the M S Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Bangalore. She also did pre-university courses at the PES Institute of Technology. She was listed as one of the ‘Bangalore Times Most Desirable Women of 2017’.
Career
Rashmika’s first work profile is of a model from where she was raised as a renowned actress all over India. She made her debut in Kannada’s highest-grossing film Kirik Party, after which she appeared in two Kannada films, Chamak and Anjani Putra. She was appreciated for her work in Chamak and got nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Kannada at the 65th Filmfare Awards South.
Later she starred in Geetha Govindam, which also got outstanding success. She has worked in and excelled in various movies, including the Telugu film Sarileru Neekevvaru, Bheeshma, Pogaru, and Sulthan. In 2021 she starred opposite Allu Arjun in Pushpa: The Rise, a blockbuster. After that, she starred in Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, Sita Ramam, and Goodbye.
