Plot of the Movie – Baaghi 3
Ronnie played by Tiger Shroff who was a martial art exponent in the first Baaghi got a job in 2018’s Baaghi 2 as an Army Commando. And in the present day as per the film, he has lost his job but is occupied with all sorts of concern about his faint-hearted brother Vikram played by Ritesh Deshmukh. However, their world turns topsy-turvy when Vikram is kidnapped by goons and transported to Syria.
Action films which aspire to have context often plots scenarios which help build up a story which can lead to ultimately martial arts, rugged bodies and some aerodynamics. And the same theory more than often becomes too exhausting a situation to tolerate for two hours.
And in all the chaos, logic suffers the most. However, the same logic-lessness seem to have become an alternate reality of a genre like this and is getting normalised as the makers are too reluctant to consider the story to be a part if not at least central of a film’s plot.
Moreover, Tiger Shroff is kept as the selling point very consciously here – and the substance which came along is only in the form of strong built muscle power and killer dance moves. The last time Tiger Shroff was actually challenged was in 2019’s War with Hrithik Roshan. This time, he was pitted against a group of men probably more rugged, but somehow the hero takes the cake.
Women, on the other hand, is also decorated like always – dutiful, ditzy and turns action heroine because how else you showcase strong and independent women?
Baaghi 3 in its totality is categorically shallow and exclusive only for a particular segment of the audience who loves action. However, there will be an overwhelming number even from that section which will be disappointed at its best.
Here is the trailer of the movie, have a look!
