National Tourism Awards

The Ministry of Tourism runs a scheme under which the National Tourism Awards are given to various travel agents and tour operators in various categories. The praiseworthy students of the institutes of Hotel Management and Indian Institute of Tourism & Travel Management are also given the Award. As times are changing, every year the award categories are evaluated and new categories are being added to recognize excellence in various fields.

National Tourism Awards 2011-12

This year, Dr. K. Chiranjeevi, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Tourism, Government of India announced the National Tourism Awards for 2011-2012. The National Tourism Awards was held in New Delhi on 18th March 2013. The Chief Guest Pranab Mukherjee, President of India, presented the awards in various categories.
