Vizag Steel has won numerous awards for its consistent high level of production, quality and overall performance. It was awarded the Prime Minister's Trophy and declared as the Best integrated steel plant for 2005-06. It has received many National Energy Conservation Award from the year 2001 to 2006 for the various steps taken by it on energy efficiency. It has also received Strong Commitment - CII HR Excellence Award 2006 for Excellence in HR. processes and practices. Some of the other accolades received by Vizag Steel are CII -GBC National Award, World Quality Commitment International Star Award 2004, Best Enterprise Award 2003-04, Leadership & Excellence Award in SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) 2004 and many more.

Products Manufactured by Vizag Steel



Vizag Steel Plant produces various products like rounds, wire rods, billets, bars,, channels, beams, and angles. The Plant is also involved in the production of Coal Chemicals, Pig Iron and Granulated Slag. The rolled products are extensively used in the sectors like defense, construction, infrastructure, oil, railways, transport, ship building and power. The structural steel is mainly used in agricultural implements, engineering, transmission towers, house building, machinery, etc. Vizag Steel Plant in Andhra Pardesh exports huge amount of various types of products like Angles, Pig Iron, Hot Rolled Rebars, Wire Rods, Beam, Billets, Channel of different dimension.
