Named after Lal Bahadur Shastri, former Indian Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium is one of the oldest cricket stadiums in India. Well-known for its batsman friendly pitch, Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium organized Test matches from 1955-56.
