Sports in Indore has contributed a lot to the state's and country's sporting history. Indore has given birth to several famous players in different sports. The highest taker in test cricket - Narendra Hirwani hails from Indore. Two other legendary cricketers Mushtaq Ali and C.K. Naidu was also born in the city.
