Personal Life and Family
Tapsee was born to Dilmohan Singh Pannu and Nirmaljeet in New Delhi on August 1, 1987. She has a younger sibling, Shagun Pannu. She is currently dating Mathias Boe, a Danish badminton player.
She completed her schooling at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar. For higher education, she studied Computer Science Engineering at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology and worked as a software engineer after that.
After being selected for Channel V’s talent show Get Gorgeous in 2008, she became a full-time model and then shifted to acting.

In 2008, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest, winning titles like ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face’ and ‘Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin’. She has endorsed several brands like Reliance Trends, Red FM 93.5, Coca-Cola, Motorola, Pantaloon, PVR Cinemas, Standard Chartered Bank, Dabur, Airtel, Tata Docomo, and others.
Her acting career started in 2010 with the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. In 2011, she appeared in the Tamil film Aadukalam and debuted in the Hindi film industry with Chashme Baddoor in 2013. In South Indian Cinema, she has worked on several films, including Vastadu Na Raju, Doubles, Mr Perfect, Veera, Vandhaan Vendraan, Mogudu, Gundello Godari, Daruvu, and Shadow.
In Hindi Cinema, she did Pink, Badla, The Ghazi Attack, Naam Shabana, Dil Junglee, Judwa 2, Soorma, Mulk, Manmarziyaan, Mission Mangal, and others. Besides modelling and acting, Tapsee, her sister Shagun, and one other friend own an event company, The Wedding Factory. She is also the owner of the badminton franchise Pune 7 Aces.
