The Colossal Shockers
While it was predictable in parts with some films’ fates, don’t take it the one which will go down without delivering the shock factor. There have been eye-widening surprises this year. The first and the foremost was Thugs of Hindostan. Forget about the profit, the film couldn’t even cover its budget cost. Something we don’t expect from Aamir’s film. And, certainly not when it is from the Yash Raj house and has heavyweights like Amitabh Bachchan. And, the latest was Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. Made with a budget of Rs 200 crore, there have been doubts if it would even be able to cover half of its cost! This was the only major film from SRK this year and it’s rotting. Sad.
