9. Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee
One of the oldest technical institutions in Asia, the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee was established as the College of Civil Engineering at Roorkee in 1847. IIT Roorkee boasts of becoming the seventh IIT recently in 2001. Also, the institute has the highest score in the top 10 for the international student’s indicator. Its global rank is #383.
