Ranked fourth in India, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has the second highest scores in India, both in terms of academic reputation and employer reputation indicators. Overall, it occupies #182 rank in Global University Rankings. Established in 1961, IIT Delhi is granted the status of Institute of Eminence (IoE) which provides the institute a greater autonomy on tuition fees, course structures, and academic collaborations.
