IV. Almond and Cranberry Poha: How about we make evergreen delicious poha more nutritious by adding the goodness of cranberries? This almond sprinkled eternal-breakfast snack takes care of both hunger and nutritional levels.

 

Ingredients:

  • 450 g onion
  • 200 g almond flakes
  • 100 g fresh coconut
  • 100 g cranberries (dried/frozen)
  • 200 g poha
  • 20 ml oil
  • 15 g salt
  • 5 g green chilies
  • 15 g curry leaves

 

Steps:

1. Take poha and soak it in cold water. After a while, strain it and keep aside. Take almonds and roast 1/4th of them and soak the rest in water.

2. Grab a pan and pour oil in it. Sauté the curry leaves, mustard seeds, and chopped green chilies.

3. Now, add the soaked poha in the fry mix with almonds and add seasoning.

4. Add grated coconut, chopped coriander, toasted almonds, and cranberries in it.

5. Serve hot with garnished coriander.
